Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
This is the Privacy Policy of Callum Lamb, operating as Callum Industries LLC. It explains what information is collected, how it is used, and how it is kept private when you use this website.
2. Information That Is Collected
The contact form collects the following information:
- Your name — required
- Your email address — required
- Inquiry type — selected from the dropdown — required
- Your message — required
- File upload — optional, only if you choose to attach something (not available for fan mail)
There is also a sign-up form so you can receive updates and announcements directly from Callum. On that form, the following is collected:
- Your full name — optional, you don't have to give it
- Your email address — required
If you buy something from the store, your name, email address, and shipping address are collected so your order can be fulfilled. Payment is handled securely by Stripe — your card details are never seen or stored.
The system also automatically records your IP address. This is stored privately and is never displayed publicly or shared with any third party.
3. When Your IP Address Is Seen
Normally, your IP address is logged in the background and is not viewed. The only time Callum is able to see your IP address personally is if you exceed the submission limits and your address gets blocked.
When an IP address is blocked, only the address number itself is visible. Who it belongs to is never visible — no name, no personal details, no identifying information comes with it. It remains anonymous.
4. Submission Limits and Blocking Rules
For the contact form: you may submit a maximum of 3 successful submissions within any 10-minute period. If you attempt a fourth submission before the 10-minute period has passed, that submission will not go through.
Your IP address will then be temporarily blocked for 24 hours. This is done solely to prevent spam, bots, and abuse of the contact form.
5. Optional File Upload
Uploading a file is completely optional. You do not have to attach anything to send your message. If you do choose to attach a file, it will be used only to review the information you have shared with Callum. It will not be shared, distributed, or used for any other purpose without your permission.
6. Cookies and Visit Counting
When you first visit, a cookie banner lets you choose Accept or Decline. If you accept, your browser is given a random anonymous ID and the website records which pages you visit, with the date and time, so Callum can see how the site is doing. Callum can never tell who you are from it. If you decline, nothing is recorded at all. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer. Full details are in the Cookies Policy.
7. Updates and Announcements — Sign-Up Form
If you sign up to receive updates and announcements from Callum, your full name and email address will be used only to send you those updates and announcements. A verification email is sent first, and your email address is not added to Callum's mailing list until you click the confirmation link. You will never be sent anything unrelated, and your details will never be sold, rented, or shared with anyone else.
You can stop receiving these updates at any time — every message will include a clear unsubscribe link, and there is an unsubscribe form linked directly under the sign-up form on the homepage. Either way, you are removed straight away. By submitting the sign-up form, you consent to receive the verification email and, once verified, the updates and announcements you are signing up for through Callum's mailing list.
8. How Your Information Is Used
The information from the contact form — your name, email address, selected inquiry type, message, and any file you choose to upload — is used only to respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about the reason you contacted Callum.
The information from the sign-up form is used only to send you the updates and announcements you have asked for.
Your name and email address are also used on the Check Submission Status page, so you — and only you — can see exactly where your inquiry stands.
If your submission is declined and you choose to appeal, your appeal answers and any supporting documents you upload are attached to your original submission, so everything stays together in one place. They are used only to review your appeal alongside your original submission. Appeals are made through the Check Submission Status page within 30 days of the decision, and each submission can be appealed once. Full details of the appeal process are in the Terms of Service.
Your personal details will never be sold, rented, or shared with anyone else for marketing or commercial purposes.
9. Data Storage and Your Rights
Your messages, any uploaded files, and your sign-up details are stored securely, and only Callum can access them. You have the right to ask what information is held about you, request corrections, or ask for your details and any files you have shared to be removed — at any time.
10. Contact
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, you can contact Callum directly below.
